What Kairos Can Do

Brad Drell, of Drell's Descants has a post up on what a Kairos weekend can mean to an inmate:

It was the start of new life for a friend of mine (I met him after the transformation began), who went from criminal/punk to prisoner, was saved on a Kairos weekend, released on parole, hewed the straight and narrow and regularly made reunion groups, met and married a great lady, had a family, got a pardon, became an Episcopal youth minister, went on to seminary, became an Episcopal priest, eventually leaving ECUSA for AMiA. Quite a transformation for a guy who went to Kairos for the cookies. The power of the Holy Spirit to change a heart is just incredible.
